Overthinking and Rumination 

Overthinking and rumination are not a disorder in themselves, but are a part of many mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, chronic stress, relationship concerns, body image issues etc. They can be very distressing. But they can be managed with help.

We believe in trust, rapport and genuine connection with our clients before we move onto correction. We believe that we can help with change, adaptive correction and growth only comes with connection. 

Towards Self-Reliance 

Our ultimate and the most important goal of therapy is self-reliance. Good therapy enables individuals with strategies, tools and awareness to understand and cope with any future concerns on their own, without dependence. 

Towards this goal, in our therapeutic process, we give worksheets and other tools to our clients to keep with them. We also collaborate in making a list of all the strategies and tools that worked for future use. 

Empathy and acceptance

We hold empathy, acceptance, non-judgement and active listening as paramount and a pre-requisite for good therapy. A therapy without these, however helpful will not work. We aim to provide safe spaces through trust, empathy and acceptance for individuals to grow and become self-reliant. 

Proven and tailor made approaches

We believe that everybody must be given the best care possible. We aim to provide scientifically and widely  proven approaches to mental health concerns. We also tailor make these approaches to individual concerns and environment, further ensuring best possible care.   

Accessibility and affordability

We believe that mental health care is a basic human right and it must be accessible and affordable to everybody. We aim to provide affordable and best possible mental health care to everybody. 

Therapeutic Approaches we follow

  • Just like one size, doesn't fit all; single therapeutic approach does not deal with all dimensions of our mental health. 

  • Hence, we combine and tailor make our approaches and strategies for the presented concern and our client's environment. 

  • Our main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). CBT is widely used to tackle and manage many mental health disorders and across many psychological disturbances. 

  • Our approach to delving into and understanding root causes, thought patterns and narratives is through CBT. 

  • CBT can be very helpful in dealing with thoughts maintaining anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image dissatisfaction and changing them into balanced thoughts. 

  • Towards our core beliefs on best possible care and tailor making approaches, we also use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) when quick understanding on coping mechanisms and solutions is required. 

  • The Strategies and Skills Learning and Development (SSLD) approach and Emotion Focused Therapy is used along with CBT to understand relationships.  

  • We also combine various other relaxation techniques and mindfulness with CBT when required.
